The Annapolis Design District recently held a Logo Design Contest, asking our members to submit their designs by October 15, 2017. The winning design was unveiled at the Anniversary Dinner Cruise on November 2. We will begin using the new logo in 2018, starting with the launch of a new website design and all visual branding materials.
Congratulations and thank you to Rob Davenport with D4 Design Concepts for submitting the winning logo design.
Thank you to the members and guests who attended the 10th Anniversary Dinner Cruise on November 2. It was the most beautiful Fall evening, with the full moon rising as the sun was setting while we cruised up the Severn river — such a wonderful way to celebrate the growth and changes the Annapolis Design District has experienced over the past 10 years.
Congratulations to our honorees of the evening:
Roberta Pardo with Urban Walls Brazil for her Beautification and Collaboration
Rita Siptak-Weill with MinuteMan Press for her constant Support and Participation
Amanda Simpson with Essex Bank for her Dedication and Commitment
Lisa Tullai with Annapolis Interiors for being Most Active and Enthused New Member
April Cunningham with April’s Table for her Generosity and Flavor
Robert Haywood and Kymberly Taylor with Annapolis Home and Looking Good magazines for being our Anchor Sponsor

On Saturday, September 23, we held our third annual Art in Action- Fall Street Festival where we unveiled new murals by Urban Walls Brazil in the Annapolis Design District. Attendees enjoyed live music and entertainment and delicious food and drink as they strolled amongst local vendors and viewed the spectacular murals. Proceeds from this event benefited the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
Special thanks to our live entertainers, Pretty Big Deal, The Shatners, Sestraluna Belly Dance Troop, and Prismatic Photo Booth. Food and drink were provided by April’s Table by Kerri Out and Sugar Rim Bar.
